Okay...seeing as how I'm out of work today with an uncooperative tummy, I got the inspiration to write a little. I had begun typing out some stuff last weekend...then, I had nothing. So, I decided to get my notebook (that my twinsy gave me) and my pencil (with a brand new eraser), and away I went. I've never taken a writing class before. But, common sense tells me that I need to have the idea and the characters figured out before I start the story. Am I right, Ang? Anyhoo...with the help of the delete button on my trusty laptop, and a blank screen...I shall bring what's swirling around in my head to life (well, at least on screen...I mean that they're not goin to be walking around and talking out loud to you...). Oh, sorry...back to writing...Denise Cross

You are correct. And you just think they won't be walking around and talking to you...you're in for a treat :) Good luck...try outlining...it helps.
ReplyDeleteThat's what I've been doing today. I got up with tummy troubles. So, I thought that today would be a good day to get some stuff down on paper. It's goin pretty good, so far. I'm thinkin about lookin on line to see if there are any sites that gives you a guideline to writing.
